The Acid 240 is the bike of choice for aspiring young riders who want to keep up with their friends and parents at all costs. The Suntour suspension fork ensures pleasant riding comfort and top directional stability, confidently absorbing all uneven ground. The Shimano 7-speed gears offer the best conditions for accelerating - this means that even the steepest climbs can be mastered effortlessly. For extra safety and control, we have also installed powerful V-brakes - with brake levers that have been precisely adapted to children's hands and a power modulator on the front wheel. And because the mountain bike heroes of tomorrow are bound to have the odd fall, the bike has been given a replaceable derailleur hanger, which avoids costly repairs. So then: get on and go!
The frame of the Acid 240 is made from the same heat-treated 6061 aluminum tube sets as our adult mountain bikes and is therefore just as robust and stable. However, we have tailored its proportions and weight to the needs of children. In addition, mudguards can be mounted - and a bottle holder so that the kids always have enough fluids on the go. Thanks to the good handling, which is designed for great riding fun, the youngsters gain a lot of self-confidence. And because accidents cannot always be avoided, we have opted for an easily replaceable derailleur hanger, which saves time-consuming repairs after a fall or impact.
